We collect the details you give us: your name, telephone number, email address, postcode, pet details and any message you send through an enquiry, booking or newsletter form. If you place a boutique order we also collect delivery details and order history. Our website may collect basic technical information such as your browser type and pages visited so we can keep the site working well.
How we use your information
We use your information to reply to enquiries, arrange meet and greets, plan and deliver visits, keep records of care instructions and emergency contacts, process and deliver boutique orders, and send updates you have asked for. Our lawful bases are performing a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running the business, and your consent where you have opted in to marketing.
Sharing your information
We never sell your data. We share it only where necessary: with your named veterinary practice or emergency contact if your pet needs help, with delivery and payment providers used to fulfil an order, with service providers that host our website or email, and where the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses only the cookies and local storage needed for the site to function, such as remembering the items in your basket and wishlist. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future we will ask for your consent first.
Data retention
We keep enquiry details for up to 12 months if no booking follows. Client and booking records are kept for up to 6 years to meet insurance, tax and accounting obligations. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Keeping your information safe
Access to your information is limited to the owner of the business and the systems we use to run it. Keys, alarm codes and access details are stored securely, kept separate from your address wherever possible, and returned or destroyed once care ends.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent at any time, and ask for your data in a portable format. Contact us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
